BE SAFE! A Community Safety Fair May 14, 2003

Lew Pascalli of CC HazMat and Debbie Vanek of the Sheriff’s Office greeted visitors. Visitors received a bag at the fair entrance to collect all of the literature and freebies offered inside.

Martinez Police Officers John Stretch (l) was a key organizer of the CAER safety fair, working here with Officer Herb Rounds, Steve Caldera and Tyson Muncher. They educated the public about home security and safely storing firearms.

Cliff Kroeger of the California Highway Patrol and Debbie Embree of Nurses and Cops are ready for visitors.

Pat Pava of the Office of Emergency Services provided information on earthquake preparedness.

The Sheriff's Office was represented by Pat Pava of the Office of Emergency Services and Jennifer Kloski of the Search and Rescue Team.


The Search and Rescue Team display interested these visitors.

Preventing West Nile virus was one of the topics at the Mosquito and Vector Control display staffed by Fred Walls and Scott Harrison.
